Shea and Syd McGee are back on Season 3 of Dream Home Makeover for a new set of home renovations, and they’re on a mission to make their clients’ dreams a reality. The couple has come a long way from going viral with their home renovation and launching their interior design company, Studio McGee, back in 2014. No longer storing carpet samples in their spare bedroom, they have a new office and more than 170 employees. Get to know the couple as interior designers, home decor entrepreneurs, and parents of a growing family.
Co-founder of Studio McGee, Shea handles the creative end of the interior design business and makes the final call on all design choices for her clients’ renovation projects. Whether it’s choosing to tear down a wall or add an extra throw pillow, Shea’s got her eye on it. Driven and tenacious, she manages a growing staff of designers and other employees along with her husband Syd, all while preparing for the birth of their third child.

Shea’s husband and business partner, Syd, is CEO of their interior design firm and furniture and home decor company. He primarily handles running their business operations and leaves the design choices to Shea. Occasionally he shows up to help carry a heavy piece of furniture and chimes in with some vague feedback and a few dad jokes. And when Shea needs to be on-site to oversee a project, Syd’s there to take care of their kids.
