Mild-mannered office worker Mr. Kim (So Ji-sub) does his best to raise his rebellious teenage daughter, Kim Min-ji (Seo Su-min) — a challenging task since the tragic passing of his wife years ago. While Mr. Kim avoids any and all confrontation — he backs off when local thugs accost him on his way home from work — Min-ji doesn’t tolerate disrespect. Mr. Kim apologizes to the principal on his daughter’s behalf after she takes on a trio of bullies, but Min-ji believes she’s done nothing to apologize for, and she storms off.
When she still isn’t home by morning, Mr. Kim discovers a worrying trail of evidence that points to a kidnapping. Thankfully, under his unassuming exterior lie the black-op skills of a spy. That’s right: Mr. Kim is actually former Agent Kim — and he’s resuming this role to rescue his daughter. Adapted from a webtoon, Agent Kim Reactivated was written by Nam Dae-joong (Love Reset) and directed by Yi Seung-young (Wonderful World) and Lee So-eun.
Two episodes premiere each week on Friday and Saturday starting June 26.
