An Animated ONE PIECE LEGO Special Drops Anchor This Fall

Climb aboard this two-part visual spectacle.

    April 7, 2026

In the first two seasons of the live-action ONE PIECE, the Straw Hats faced the menacing Arlong Pirates, went toe-to-toe with deadly Baroque Works assassins, and battled fearsome metal monsters. Now, their extraordinary adventures are being reimagined in brick form.

Debuting Sept. 29, the LEGO™ ONE PIECE animated special is a two-part retelling of the unforgettable events from Seasons 1 and 2 of the pirate saga. Follow along as Usopp, the Straw Hats’ most reliably unreliable narrator, regales the newest and cutest recruit, the reindeer-boy hybrid Tony Tony Chopper, with the group’s epic exploits across the East Blue and into the legendary Grand Line.

There’s no need to sail through treacherous seas for a sneak peek at the upcoming special. Claim your treasure — a first-look image — at the top of this story.

The project is produced in partnership with the LEGO Group, Japanese publisher Shueisha, and the Vancouver-based animation studio Atomic Cartoons (Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends). Tom Hyndman serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer.

ONE PIECE creator Eiichiro Oda also executive produces alongside Jill Wilfert, Keith Malone, and Lars Danielsen for LEGO, and Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements for Tomorrow Studios.

Stream Seasons 1 and 2 of ONE PIECE, based on Oda’s beloved manga series, now. Dive deeper into the East Blue with the ONE PIECE: Into the Grand Line: Official Podcast and get acquainted with the Season 2 cast along with the Baroque Works villains chasing the Straw Hats across the Grand Line. Plus, read all about those big reveals in our Season 2 ending explainer and take the ONE PIECE character quiz to find out which Straw Hat best fits your personality.
