The Kid Cudi–starring Entergalactic is much more than a music video: It’s an animated event, complete with lavish visuals and a soundtrack of Cudi songs from the eponymous album. As Cudi (who plays Entergalactic’s lead, Jabari) weaves throughout this technicolor story of love and art, he interacts with a cast of familiar names. Concealed behind the special’s stylized artwork, some actors are more recognizable as their animated avatars than others, but have no fear, we’ve got your complete guide to the voices behind the faces. Hop on the back of our cast guide bike and pedal along with us — this is one trip you won’t want to miss.

The hip-hop star, born Scott Mescudi, has been quietly carving out a career as an actor; you may have seen him in last year’s Academy Award best picture nominee Don’t Look Up, or this year’s slasher flick X. In Entergalactic, he plays graffiti artist Jabari, who’s juggling his personal life with a big career pivot into comic book art.

The animated version of Williams closely resembles her, so you may have recognized the former Daily Show star right off the bat. Meadow is a photographer and Jabari’s neighbor; when the pair begin a romance, their carefully ordered lives are thrown into chaos. Williams has also appeared in films like Booksmart and the Fantastic Beasts movies, as well as The Incredible Jessica James on Netflix.

Yes, that’s heartthrob of the moment Chalamet as Jabari’s close friend and confidant Jimmy; presumably the animators didn’t want to spend valuable time away from their families to painstakingly animate every one of the Dune star’s bouncing curls. Chalamet dives into this voice performance with gusto similar to his Don’t Look Up character. For his more restrained side, check out his terrific trio of performances in Call Me by Your Name, Lady Bird and Little Women.

Jabari’s other friend is played by musician Ty Dolla $ign. It’s an acting debut for the “Paranoid” artist, but you’ve almost certainly heard his voice on the radio at some point over the years, whether it was his verse on Fifth Harmony’s 2016 jam “Work from Home” or his own tracks “Or Nah” and “Blasé.” If that wasn’t enough, he’s also a prolific writer: You can thank him for at least part of Rihanna’s “FourFiveSeconds.”

The Princess Switch star plays Meadow’s pregnant friend Karina, who alternately encourages and cautions her over her romance with Jabari. Hudgens will forever be a Zillennial icon for her role in the High School Musical trilogy, but she’s also made a habit of stealing scenes in films as wide-ranging as Spring Breakers, Bad Boys for Life and last year’s Tick… Tick… Boom!

Jabari’s ex Carmen throws a slight wrench into the works as his relationship with Meadow grows — hey, what would a romance be without a little miscommunication? Harrier can also be spotted in films like Spider-Man: Homecoming, BlacKkKlansman and Hollywood.
