Jung So-min in Love Next Door
Seok-ryu (Jung So-min) is supposed to get married in the US a month from now … so why’s she back in South Korea trying to hide from her family? Turns out, life hasn’t been easy on the overachiever lately, and she’s looking for a fresh start. The day she arrives, she crosses paths with Seung-hyo (Jung Hae-in), a celebrated architect who knew Seok-ryu — and used to get beat up by her — as a kid. Their moms have been close friends since the pair were young and are still in heated competition with each other about whose child is thriving more, which hasn’t done anything to help Seok-ryu and Seung-hyo get along. As the pair resume their antagonistic relationship, however, their combativeness and hijinks end up bringing them closer — despite their complicated history.
