Wilmon nation, we’ve waited long enough — it’s almost time to dust off those burgundy blazers and head back to school. The second season of Young Royals has officially started production in Stockholm, and who better to welcome us back than Edvin Ryding, Omar Rudberg, and the rest of Hillerska’s best and brightest? (Well, Hillerska’s best and brightest... and then August. No comment. Sorry, Malte Gårdinger, it’s nothing personal.)

When we last saw Wilhelm (Ryding) and Simon (Rudberg), they made the emotional decision to part ways: Simon doesn’t want to be anyone’s secret boyfriend, and thanks to pressure from the Crown, Wilhelm feels duty bound to deny their romantic relationship. But clearly, their story is far from over, and in a new clip, Ryding and Rudberg hint that their characters’ next chapters will definitely include each other.

“They have a special bond,” Ryding explains, before Rudberg warns him not to give anything away.

Elsewhere in the clip, castmates Gårdinger, Nikita Uggla and Frida Argento blow some kisses to the fans, and Rudberg teases that Hillerska might get a few new students in Season 2. As long as they don’t mess with Wilmon, Simon, Felice (Uggla) and Sara (Argento), we’re ready to give them a warm welcome.
