Netflix audiences all around the world were on the trail of a killer this week with UNTAMED. The new Yosemite-set mystery series starring Eric Bana hit No. 1 on the global Top 10 English TV list, with 24.6 million views. It’s the second No. 1 debut this year for co-creator Mark L. Smith; his previous series American Primeval hit the top spot in January.

Don’t miss out on the “pop culture event of the summer!” KPop Demon Hunters held onto the No. 1 slot on the English Films list, with 25.8 million views. The girls of HUNTR/X helped the movie have its highest week of viewing in its fifth week–something no other film has ever done–rising up more than a million views from last week. That’s a lot of slaying (demon and otherwise). And these aren’t the only charts they’re tearing up: multiple original songs from the film are currently making their way up the Billboard charts

Close on the hunters’ heels were a few familiar faces: Tyler Perry’s Madea popped up at No. 2 with Madea’s Destination Wedding (16.5 million views), and the immortal warriors of The Old Guard 2 slashed their way to No. 4 (6.2 million views). Fans also dove back into 2022’s A Madea Homecoming, which reemerged at No. 8 (3 million views).

True crime lovers also made their voices heard — documentary series Amy Bradley Is Missing appeared at No. 2 on the English TV list, with 12.2 million views. And for those in search of a lighter story, Trainwreck: Balloon Boy hit No. 3 on the English Films list (7 million views).

Non-English Films had a big week, with Germany’s mystery thriller Brick retaining the No. 1 slot (22.3 million views). Three other debuts appeared in the Top 10, including South Korea’s Wall to Wall (No. 3, 6.4 million views), Brazil’s Almost Family (No. 4, 5.5 million views) and Apocalypse in the Tropics (No. 7, 1.1 million views).

On the non-English TV list, South Korea’s Squid Game Season 3 maintained its impressive hold on No. 1 for a fourth week, with another 7.8 million views. Fans also caught up with the series’ second season, which found a spot at No. 6 (1.9 million views). Japan’s Tougen Anki anime series landed at No. 5 (2 million views), joining its peers DAN DA DAN (No. 3, 4 million views) and The Summer Hikaru Died (No. 8, 1.4 million views). Argentina’s Delirium arrived at No. 9 (1.4 million views).

Finally, golf champion Happy Gilmore cropped back up on the English films list at No. 6 (4 million views) — just in time for long-awaited sequel Happy Gilmore 2 to hit Netflix this week.
