The airport-set Christmas thriller topped the English films list with 42 million views — the biggest opening for a Netflix film this year, launching into the top 10 in 93 countries.

Meanwhile, newly minted Golden Globe nominee Black Doves held onto No. 1 in its second week on the English TV list, nabbing 14.6 million views and staying in the top 10 in 92 countries. Jamie Foxx’s stand-up special What Had Happened Was… hit No. 2 (8.2 million views), and Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman’s new murder mystery No Good Deed landed at No. 3 (6 million views).
