Three sisters reunite for a family vacation in the Dominican Republic, but their idyllic holiday takes a dark turn when the youngest sister — a naive single mother — accidentally kills someone. When she calls her sisters for help, the decisions the trio make will have repercussions for the rest of their lives. Created by Jason George (Into the Night), the psychological thriller That Night questions how far a family should go to protect one another. The limited series, which is told through multiple POVs, stars Paula Usero, Claudia Salas, and Clara Galle as the Arbizu sisters.

What happens in That Night?

Elena (Galle), the youngest of the Arbizu sisters and a neurotic new mom, desperately needs a vacation. So she drags her middle sister, Paula (Salas), to visit her eldest sister, Cris (Usero), in the Dominican Republic for a sun-filled adventure. But what starts as an opportunity for the three women to reconnect and unwind turns into a nightmare when Elena kills someone in self-defense. Confronted by a thief with a gun after leaving the club, Elena tries to flee, only to end up running him over with her car in her attempt to escape. Alone and hysterical, she calls her sisters for help instead of the cops; after all, she has an infant daughter, Ane, to get home to. Who knows what would happen to Ane if Elena was arrested in a foreign country?

But when her sisters arrive, they don’t quite agree about what to do. Cris, the most idealistic Arbizu sibling, immediately wants to call the police to clear Elena’s name. However, after Paula discovers the dead man is a local police officer, she’s determined to deal with the issue as a family matter. The choices the Arbizu sisters make that night come back to haunt them, and the secrets they keep begin to destroy their lives.
