What happens in Furies?

College student Lyna (El Arabi) is excited for her birthday — her favorite day of the year. And this’ll be one she’ll never forget … but for all the wrong reasons. As she sits down to celebrate with her parents, both of whom are criminals, her father is shot and killed. Because of her parents’ ties to the city’s most notorious crime families, Lyna’s sent to jail after she’s unable to identify her father’s killer. While there, she re-ups her self-defense skills and tracks down info on a mysterious figure called The Fury (Foïs), a dangerous, justice-serving keeper of the peace among those who run the seedy underbelly of the French capital.

Upon her release, Lyna sets out to find the truth about her father’s murder — by infiltrating the Parisian crime syndicate where The Fury reigns. But it turns out The Fury, whose real name is Selma, could use Lyna’s help. As Selma trains her potential new recruit, the pair uncover a dark conspiracy that threatens the criminal underworld.
