The new generation of Castlevania is here: Please welcome Richter Belmont and his new series, Castlevania: Nocturne, to the universe. The name was announced in a special teaser first-look at that show as part of our second annual Geeked Week extravaganza, offering a new take on the popular vampire-hunter video game turned animated TV series.

Years after the events of Castlevania, Richter takes up the mantle of vampire hunter in this story, centered on the franchise’s most beloved iteration, Symphony of the Night. The character originated in one of the most popular Castlevania games, Rondo of Blood

Based on the classic Japanese video game series of the same name, Castlevania follows vampire hunter Trevor Belmont as he fights to save a besieged city from an army of otherworldly beasts controlled by Dracula himself. You can watch all four of its seasons now.
