The British Academy Film Awards have announced the 2025 nominees ahead of the Feb. 16 ceremony in London, and with 16 nominations across 4 films, Netflix has much to celebrate. Leading the pack for Netflix is Jacques Audiard’s musical crime drama Emilia Pérez. The evocative film, which recently won four Golden Globe Awards, received 11 nominations, including Best Film and Film Not in the English Language. Karla Sofía Gascón, Golden Globe winner Zoe Saldaña, and Selena Gomez picked up acting nominations, while auteur Audiard was nominated for both his directing work and for penning the adapted screenplay. Joining Emilia Pérez as Netflix’s BAFTA-nominated titles are the documentaries Daughters and Will & Harper, as well as the animated feature Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, which received 3 nominations.
