What happens in A Killer Paradox?

Twentysomething Lee Tang (Choi), who was dispatched from the army six months ago, is down on his luck and has no real goals in life. He dreams of visiting Canada one day, but the trip seems far out of reach — he works at a convenience store where he earns next to nothing and is still heavily reliant on his parents for support.

Unfortunately, things are about to get much, much worse for Tang. On his way home from work one night, he’s assaulted by one of his customers. For Tang, who dealt with years of bullying in high school, it’s the last straw. He fights back — hard — and ends up killing the guy. There are no witnesses, or so he thinks, but Tang is wracked with guilt. He’s sure he’ll be found out, and prepares to turn himself in… until he finds out his victim was a serial killer.

It looks like Tang may get off completely scot-free, but unfortunately for him, dutiful Detective Jang Nan-gam (Son) won’t get off his back. It’s impossible to tell if Jang’s onto him or not, but then… Tang kills again. And again. And again. With his newfound hidden talent of accidentally offing evildoers, is Tang serving justice — or evading it?
